The final match of the 1st All India Police T 20 Cricket Tournament 2024,25, hosted by Delhi Police, witnessed an exhilarating contest between the Delhi Police Team and the Uttar Pradesh Police Team at Arun Jaitley Stadium. The Chief Guest, Sh. Tapan Kumar Deka, Director Intelligence Bureau along with Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissiner of Police, Delhi, Sh. Neeraj Thakur, Spl. CP Armed Police and Senior Police Officers, presented the winners trophy to the Delhi Police Team.
The Passing out Parade of 2175 newly trained trainees comprising of DANIPS Batch No. 24, Probationer Sub Inspectors Delhi Police, Recruit Constables Executive Delhi Police Batch No. 122 and 123, Recruit Constables Driver Delhi Police Batch No. 29 and P. ASI Chandigarh Police Batch No. 55 was held at Delhi Police Academy, Jharoda Kalan New Delhi. Sh. Vivek Gogia, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, Delhi took the salute of the marching contingents as Chief Guest.
A Walkathon from India Gate to PS Kartavya Path was organised on the occasion of Delhi Police Raising Day Celebrations, with an aim unite against Drug Abuse and to promote a Healthier, Drug Free Delhi. Shri Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Senior Police Officers and Guests of Honour flagged off the walkathon. Participants from both police and public participated in the walkathon.
A seminar on Road Safety and Efficient Traffic Management was organized at Adarsh Auditorium, PHQ Jai Singh Road, New Delhi by Delhi Traffic Police. The seminar aimed at to bring together Senior Delhi Traffic Police officials, experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss innovative solutions for improving road safety and traffic management in Delhi.
