Delhi Police Celebrates the 12th International Day of Yoga

On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, a yoga session was organized today on the lawns of the Delhi Police Headquarters, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi. Officers and personnel of Delhi Police gathered to celebrate the occasion with enthusiasm and commitment. In the early morning hours, officers and personnel of Delhi Police, led by Shri Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi enthusiastically participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to health, wellness, and the spirit of yoga.

Inauguration of first Women Police Station of Delhi.

Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, today inaugurated the first ever Women Police Station of the Delhi Police in the Subzi Mandi area of the North District. Shri Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi and senior officers of the Delhi Police, were also present on the occasion. The Women Police Station has been established as a dedicated institution to address crimes against women and children and to provide a safe, accessible, and victim centric policing environment.

Delhi Police Marks World Environment Day with Mega Plantation Drive Across All Districts and Units

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Delhi Police organised a large scale Tree Plantation Drive across all districts and units of Delhi Police, reaffirming its commitment towards environmental sustainability and a greener future.The drive was led by Sh. Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, who planted a sapling at the Police Headquarters, Delhi. World Environment Day was observed extensively across all districts and units of Delhi Police. Tree plantation activities were carried out, and senior officers and police personnel participated enthusiastically by planting saplings, promoting greenery, and spreading awareness among citizens about the importance of environmental conservation.

'OPERATION VISHWAS'

At an event held today at the Multi Purpose Hall, North Campus, University of Delhi, 12,600 stolen lost mobile phones recovered by Delhi Police under its special initiative ‘Operation Vishwas’ were handed over to their rightful owners. The function was presided over by Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. The program, organised by Delhi Police, was attended by Shri Satish Golchha, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, senior officers, and representatives of several RWAs and MWAs. On this occasion, a Traffic Exhibition Van was also inaugurated and a safety guide booklet was launched.
