Sh. Vinai Kumar Saxena Hon’ble LG Delhi, today inaugurated the 73rd All India Police Athletics Cluster Championship Athletics and Cycling at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi and Senior Officers of Delhi Police were present to witness the grand opening ceremony. The presence of Sh. Virender Sehwag, Former Indian Cricketer and Ms. Rani Rampal, Former Captain and present Coach of Indian Hockey Team, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.

A grand colourful Passing Out Parade of newly recruited Sub Inspectors PSIs from Delhi Police and Andaman and Nicobar Police was held at the Delhi Police Academy, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi, on 29th October 2024. A total of 262 PSIs participated, including 21 from the Andaman and Nicobar Police force. Sh. Rajender Pal Upadhyaya, IPS, Special CP Special Cell took the salute from the marching contingents.

On the occasion of Commemoration week, Anti Narcotics Task Force of the Crime Branch organized Awareness Programs on drug abuse and its prevention on 26.10.2024 at India Gate. The event was held in the presence of Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi and officials from various Districts Units including the Crime Branch, New Delhi District Police, IFSO, the Traffic Unit.

Delhi Police organised a commemorative event at National Police Memorial, Chanakyapuri to honour the police martyrs who laid down their lives in service of the nation. Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi and Senior Officers paid homage to martyrs by laying wreaths at the Central Sculpture of the memorial.
