Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi flagged off Tiranga Rally from the PHQ, Jai Singh Road, today. 75 vehicles covered several prominent places in New Delhi District on a designated route during the rally, under Govt of India Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has been launched under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations to encourage citizens to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of Indias independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of citizens and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. Similar rallies were held simultaneously in all the 15 Districts of Delhi.
Honourable Lieutenant Governor, Delhi Sh. Vinai Kumar Saxena and CP, Delhi Sh. Sanjay Arora visited the Integrated Facilitation Booth at INA Market, Pink Booth at Alaknanda Market and YUVA Center at PS Greater Kailash in South district.
He has served in various capacities in Tamil Nadu Police and was awarded CM’s Gallantry Medal for Bravery and Heroic Action. He has also been awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2004, President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2014, Police Special Duty Medal, Antrik Suraksha Padak and UN Peacekeeping Medal among others. He has served in various capacities in Tamil Nadu Police and was awarded CMs Gallantry Medal for Bravery and Heroic Action.
