The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, initiated under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, is being observed with patriotic fervour across the country. This year, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga 2026’ is dedicated to commemorating 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, celebrating patriotism, pride in the Tiranga and the spirit of devotion to the motherland embodied in the National Song. As part of the celebrations, a collective mass singing of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ was organised at the Adarsh Auditorium, Police Headquarters, Delhi, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour to commemorate 150 years of the National Song. The programme was held in the presence of Sh. Anurag Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and was attended by senior police officers and personnel.

Delhi Police today organised its Commissionerate Day with a Ceremonial Parade at the Parade Ground, New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp, Delhi. Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and took the salute in the presence of Shri Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, a yoga session was organized today on the lawns of the Delhi Police Headquarters, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi. Officers and personnel of Delhi Police gathered to celebrate the occasion with enthusiasm and commitment. In the early morning hours, officers and personnel of Delhi Police, led by Shri Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi enthusiastically participated in the event, demonstrating their commitment to health, wellness, and the spirit of yoga. In addition to the programme held at Police Headquarters, Yoga sessions were also organised across districts and units of Delhi Police, witnessing enthusiastic participation by officers and staff.
